DOW products
One authoritative source for defense programs
Convene for Department of War (DoW) programs, formerly DoD, and the industry teams that support them. Connect requirements, models, designs, tests and telemetry into one versioned project, then generate the deliverables, run the tests and operate the systems from that same source.
Program deliverables
Deliverables generated from the data, not retyped
Documents includes 27 standard IEEE, INCOSE and DoD deliverable templates. Each one is filled from the project's requirements, models, interfaces and test records, carries its governing standard, and exports to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF.

Interfaces from the model
ICD, IRS and IDD documents and an N² interface matrix are filled from dataports, data flow connections and harness wire lists.
Test and verification
TEMP, SVVP, test plans, procedures, reports and FCA/PCA read the Test workspace: test cases, plans, runs and incidents, including imported JUnit and CSV results.
Your own formats
Upload your own Office templates with placeholders and loops when a program needs a specific layout. Macros are never run.
Digital thread & authoritative source
Every artifact traced, every change recorded
Each project is a Git repository: every change is a commit with author and history, and work happens on branches that are reviewed and merged. Trace links connect the disciplines into one digital thread.
Trace across disciplines
- Requirements IDE with specification generation and verification and traceability matrices
- SysML v2 IDE for system models
- Trace links such as satisfies, verifies and allocated to, plus data flows
- Requirement coverage from test cases and their latest verdicts
Workspaces on one thread
- Systems, Mechanical (CAD), Electrical (ECAD and harnesses) and Software
- Digital Engineering: digital twins, simulation and telemetry dashboards
- Test: test cases, plans, runs, JUnit and CSV import
- Physical systems with command and control, and Program Management
Disconnected & edge operations
Designed for sites without a reliable connection
Convene Local (Windows) and Convene Mobile (Android tablet) keep a full copy of each project and work offline. When a connection returns, they sync with your Cloud instance.
Offline by default
Every edit is committed locally. Sync refuses to push over changes it has not seen, and divergent work is kept on its own branch instead of being overwritten.
Local network sharing
Convene Local can share projects with nearby devices over pinned HTTPS with Windows authentication, so a team can work together on an isolated network.
Portable project files
A .cszip file carries the whole project, every branch, tag and commit, for transfer between machines and networks. Imported files are treated as untrusted and checked on open.
UAS test & command and control
Vendor-neutral UAS test, missions and control
Command and control connects to vehicles through a bridge, so the same mission planning, telemetry and safety gates apply across supported platforms, including open and research airframes. Physical control runs only on the local network and never through the cloud.
Missions and test
- Mission planning, multi-vehicle missions, and take over and resume
- Digital twin, simulator and Open MCT telemetry dashboards
- Test runs and evidence that trace back to requirements
Safety gates
- Three operator preflight acknowledgements before arming
- Arming confirmed by the vehicle bridge, for a limited time
- Signed, sequenced commands that expire after seconds
- Deadman and operator heartbeat: control is released when the operator goes silent
- The pilot's handheld controller can always override
Dedicated isolated instances
Your program's own instance
Each organization runs in its own separate cloud project with its own data, users and access rules. Nothing is shared with other tenants.
Tenant isolation
Separate cloud project, database and storage per organization, with access checked on every project request.
Local-only option
Teams that cannot use a cloud service can run Convene Local and Convene Mobile on their own devices and exchange projects as files.
Security posture
Controls built into the architecture
Convene is designed for programs with strict data-handling needs. These are the controls the platform implements today.
Data and access
- Isolated instance per organization
- Per-project access checks and optional project passwords
- Device authorization for desktop and tablet sync
- Full change history on every project
Untrusted input and control
- Uploaded and imported repositories are bounded, path-checked and verified
- Repository hooks and configuration are stripped on import
- Physical vehicle control never leaves the local network
- Safety-gated arming and signed, expiring commands
